My latest article on Wine Enthusiast's website
Here is an article I wrote about taking a day trip to Woodinville, WA, home of Chateau St. Michelle and Columbia wineries, Red Hook brewery and several eclectic restaurants.
Hello Kelly - I was pleased to read your article on a wine trip to Woodinville. I'm surprised you only mentioned the two large wineries, without hinting at the over 25 wineries in the valley - many with world-class wines. I hope you'll check them out next time you're in town - here is a map of a select few on a special events tour this weekend: http://www.woodinvillewinecountry.com/wwc.php?view=map
Thanks for your comment. I certainly did not meant to slight the other wineries in the Woodinville area. My article focused on what you could accomplish during a day trip to Woodinville, and if time is limited, a visitor to that area may only have the chance to visit the "big two," so to speak.
I hope to visit Woodinville again sometime, and you can be sure that I will hit some of the other area wineries the second time around. :-)
